February 3, 2011. Okay, to update you all on the first 20 pages, nothing big has happened yet. The beginning really didn't grab my attention, it was in my opinion a boring start. But then page four turned things around when I was introduced to a little boy who was left by his sister who went to the doctor's office. In her absence his kitten was chased up a pole by a dog, and the little boy was scared to ask for help and cried. It was the middle of winter and he was afraid the kitten will freeze to death. A guy named Carl, helped the kids get the kitten down. The first 20 pages was basically an introduction to all the characters.
January 24, 2011. UH OH!!! :/ I forgot to read my book, "O Pioneers!" By Willa Cather, over the weekend. We were supposed to read the first 20 pages. Tonight I will get that read and blog asap!
